The library is open on school days and school hours until after the last term. During school holidays the library will remain closed.

Every teacher can become a library member, as long as they accept the Ministry o f Education decree No 128800/ C7/ F11/1240/19-11-2003 on how a school library should function. Members are provided with a card, valid until their transfer to another school, that contains a barcode, useful for library services, but which contains no personal information if lost.

The library is a non-smoking area. No eating or drinking is allowed. Cell phones should be deactivated (or silence mode) in the library.

Members are requested to leave the books they take from the shelves on the tables.

Lending is external and internal. Members can search the shelves or the on-line library catalogue on the special P.C. Reference material or rare/valuable items can only be lent for the classroom as long as they are safely returned within the day.

External borrowing is available only to library members through the automated library program ABEKT 5.0

Each member can borrow 4 items for 15 days with a renewal of a fortnight. Non-printed material can be lent for three days and renewed for three more by phone, as long as it hasn't been reserved in the meanwhile.
